Langshans

Langshans are the gentle giants of the chicken world.  They are curious, docile and so beautiful with their elegant long tails, proud stance and fluffy feathered legs.  They are cold hardy and will lay about 4+ cream to tan eggs per week on average.  Some hens have a heavy bloom that makes their eggs appear pink or lavender in color.  Langshan hens are good mothers, but don’t tend to be an overly broody breed. I breed Langshans in blue, black, splash and a recessive pure white.
